1. Website Use & Intellectual Property

Accuracy of Information: While we strive for 100% accuracy, Manousakis Marine is not responsible for typographical errors regarding pricing, boat specifications, or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors at any time.
Content Ownership: All text, logos, and high-resolution images of our fleet are the exclusive property of Manousakis Marine. Unauthorized reproduction or use of these materials for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
External Links: Our website may link to third-party services (such as WhatsApp or Google Maps). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external sites.

2. Booking & Communication Policy

Request Status: Submitting a form through our website constitutes a Booking Request. It does not constitute a guaranteed reservation.
Final Confirmation: A booking is only officially confirmed once a member of our team contacts you via WhatsApp or Email and provides a formal confirmation.
Communication Consent: By providing your contact details, you consent to receive messages regarding your specific inquiry. We primarily use WhatsApp for "Fast Communication" to provide real-time updates on availability and weather.

3. Rental Requirements

Identification: The lead renter must present a valid Passport or National ID card on the day of the rental.
Age Restrictions: You must be at least 20 years of age to rent a vessel.
Boating Licenses: * No-License Boats: We offer a selection of boats that can be legally operated without a speedboat license. For these vessels, a mandatory safety and handling briefing will be provided before departure.

Licensed Boats: For our high-performance vessels, a valid and original speedboat license must be presented at check-in. It is the renter's responsibility to ensure their license is recognized by the Greek Port Authorities.

4. Weather & Safety Cancellations

Safety First: Manousakis Marine reserves the sole right to cancel or postpone a rental due to adverse weather conditions (high winds, heavy swells) or Port Authority restrictions.
Refund Policy: If we cancel a trip due to weather and a reschedule is not possible, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
Early Returns: No refunds are provided for boats returned earlier than the scheduled time due to personal preference or sea sickness.

5. Fuel & Additional Costs

Fuel Policy: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, fuel is not included in the initial rental price. The boat is provided with a full tank and will be refilled upon return, with the cost charged to the renter based on actual consumption.
Damage: The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the boat, engine, or equipment (including propellers and GPS units) resulting from negligence or failure to follow safety instructions.

6. On-Board Conduct

Renters must follow all safety instructions provided during the check-in briefing.
The maximum passenger capacity of the vessel must never be exceeded.
All safety equipment (life jackets, flares, etc.) must remain on board and be used in accordance with Greek maritime law.

7. Limitation of Liability

Manousakis Marine shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss of property, or indirect damages arising from the use of our website or the rental of our vessels, except in cases of proven gross negligence by our company.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rethymno, Crete.
